Have a baby by me.....be a....?

I know I still struggle with the song by Fiddy…have a baby by me be a millionaire….yet I am from that generation that’s supposed to grasp his music. But here is someone who has his own version of that track and he doesn’t rap his…..Meet Councilor Mutahi, from Kenya, who believes that the only way he can help re-populate his ward is through financial incentives to women….maybe he and 50 cent can do a remix?

According to him, he has realized that the youth are no longer marrying or populating Kenya…(after I posted a blog on urban cities increasing their population) so he is giving a motivation of 500kshs ($6.25) to every woman who becomes pregnant and 2,000kshs ($25) for every woman he gives birth.

http://www.nation.co.ke/Features/DN2/For%20every%20baby%20you%20conceive%20I%20will%20give%20you%20Sh500%20cash%20/-/957860/1058938/-/item/1/-/9xto74z/-/index.html

“His initiative, he says, does not just target the re-population of his ward, but also that of the entire Central region, which has been in the news for all the wrong reasons since the publishing of the results of the 2009 national population census survey, which indicated that Central Province had the lowest population growth rate in 10 years.”

So, I will get pregnant and receive $6.25, let me see how much that can do for me. Round trip to the clinic, for first round up of checks, pay for the doc, and then by the third round at the doc, that cash is ka-bom, voila, gone.

Let’s jump the pregnancy stage and move to delivery, can that $25 be used to deliver? Should I be negative on his initiative? How much of that $6.25 can be used to support the expectant woman’s food, medical bills? Or will it multiply to form endless of thousands? A possible miracle like that of the bible? And that $25 will it been live to see how it fed the newly born infant? Some of these plans, who advises on them? But I hope someone can prove me wrong. I have questions….so so many questions but I will ask a few then play dumb, like a dumb blonde. Will this encourage early pregnancies? Will it encourage single mothers, after all some men can run off since you can have baby by him and the councilor will make you a shilingaire.

Today, I am holding back from going to FB and putting up tracks. I have fallen in love with a west African radio station, its French. Great zouk and coupe caler music with bits of Naija sounds. Totally fits my love for West African music. Their collection of old school tracks is outstanding..from hip hooraying, to regulating, soul for real….I even had two memory lane moments with Mind Sex by Dead Prez and Brown Sugar by D’Angelo…. Their description of women, especially in mind sex…is mind-blowing…African princess….you’re probably like poetry…black rose…thornless rose..eternal rose….please look my way…the ONLY problem I have with this track is that this chap is unleashing these wicked rhymes to his African lover while from the jail cell…yeah I got issues with the image, only….I ain’t got no beef with the tracks, the lyrics….poetry of this sort, would blow my mind….well I have always had my own weakness..handwritten letters in black ink….preferably using a feather, yes a long one, dipped in ink…..and used to slowly craft a letter…D’Angelo and Dead Prez are confusing the mind of this African princess ;-)

So in April 2011, life will stop on a certain day, when Prince William will be getting hitched. The whole world will stop breathing, and all the TV channels will stop showing other important things, such as Iraq’s internal bombings, Pirates in Somalia, Osama bin Laden sending his favorite videos on his next project..the usual very important stuff. And I have several months till April to find out how important this news is to me, will it contribute to the private jet, yacht and private island I have been wanting for the last 5 years, so that I can retire.
